Fear

To be afraid of something means to be human. Fear is a natural reaction when humans feel threatened. It is an important key to survival. From children to adults, we have all felt fear at some point of our lives. Not everyone is afraid of the same thing but some do share similar fears. And a very important thing to remember is that fear often distorts our point of view. It can lead to panic, irrational thinking as well as impulsive behavior. At times though, it is our mind that distorts a fear, making the thing we fear seem ever more frightening than it really is. The purpose of “Fear” is to explore that connection we share as human beings, being afraid of something. Just like one person’s fear may not be shared by the next one, the work lets the viewer interpret the fear, based on their own experiences.
